Need something fixed on your pier or
marina grounds? Fill out a Marina Action Form (MAF). These forms
are the "Form"al way to notify the marina staff of health,
safety, or upkeep problems. They also track the progress of your
issue and notify you of it being complete. Get one at the marina
store.

The Norfolk Naval
Sailing Association (NNSA) monthly meeting on Tuesday, 30 Sept
2008 at the NAB Little Creek USO, was a great meeting - if you
attended - GREAT! If not, you missed a good opportunity to
see how an established club conducts meetings. There will be
more events/activities scheduled with NNSY. CMYC looks
forward to working with NNSA in the near future and especially
this coming Spring. The NNSA website for more

BBQ
The Cove
Marina/CMYC BBQ this past Saturday night was a big success,
great tunes, good friends and great BBQ. Thanks to the 56
(members, guests and BBQ aficionados) who took a chance on the
weather holding (and it did!) to join in the festivities..
Thanks to Jim Landon, Carlos Rosario and the rest of the Cove
Marina gang for all their support and to all that assisted in
setup, breakdown and clean up. A very special thanks to our good
marina friend "Uncle" Harry Finley who assisted "Grandpa" Mike
with the setup, music and cooking. If anyone has pictures of the
BBQ please e-mail Mike

Special Note-
Anthony Dieli is recovering well from his unfortunate jet ski
mishap and was able to attend the BBQ . We hope to see
much more of him at the marina in the near future - Welcome back
